GEAN Digital Studio

Privacy Policy

Effective date: October 12, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains what information GEAN Digital Studio ("we", "us") collects when you visit geandigital.com or contact us through it, how we use that information, and the choices you have. Questions or requests: hello@geandigital.com.

Who we are

GEAN Digital Studio is a digital marketing studio based in Charlotte, North Carolina. The site is operated by Gean Digital Studio LLC, a North Carolina limited liability company.

Email: hello@geandigital.com

Information you give us

When you submit a form on this site, we collect the information you enter:

  • Name and email address
  • Phone number (optional, contact form)
  • Business name and website or social profile (if you have one)
  • Industry or the service you're interested in
  • Current marketing channels and approximate budget range (optional, audit form)
  • Your message or description of your marketing challenge

Please don't send sensitive information

Our forms are meant for business inquiries. Please don't include health or medical information about you or anyone else, payment card or bank details, passwords, Social Security numbers or similar sensitive information. If we receive it, we may delete it.

Information collected automatically

Our hosting and security providers process technical data such as your IP address, browser type and device information to deliver the site and protect it from spam and abuse.

If you allow analytics cookies, Google Analytics measures which pages are visited and how, and Microsoft Clarity records how visitors scroll, click and move through pages so we can find usability problems. Clarity is set to hide the text people type into form fields.

If you allow marketing cookies, the Meta Pixel and Conversions API help us measure whether our ads on Facebook and Instagram lead to inquiries.

How we use information

  • To reply to your request and schedule calls
  • To prepare and deliver a Marketing Audit, proposal or project you ask for
  • To keep a record of inquiries and their status
  • To protect the site and our forms from spam and abuse
  • With your consent, to measure how the site is used and how our advertising performs

Emails from us

When you submit a form, you'll receive a confirmation email and we'll reply about your request. We won't add you to a marketing mailing list unless you ask us to. If we ever send marketing emails, each one will include a way to unsubscribe.

Service providers

We use the following providers to run the site and handle inquiries. They process information on our behalf and under their own security and privacy terms:

  • Cloudflare: hosting, security and the Turnstile spam check
  • Resend: delivery of form notifications and confirmation emails
  • Google: Google Sheets for inquiry records; Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics (analytics, with consent)
  • Microsoft: Clarity usage analytics (with consent)
  • Meta: Meta Pixel and Conversions API for ad measurement (with consent)

Selling and sharing

We do not sell your personal information for money.

If you accept marketing cookies, we share limited information with Meta to measure our advertising. Under some state privacy laws this can count as "sharing" or "targeted advertising". When we send a form submission to Meta's Conversions API, your email and phone number are hashed (converted to an unreadable code) before they are sent, together with technical data such as your IP address and browser type. You can opt out at any time in Cookie settings, or by using a Global Privacy Control signal (see below).

Cookies and similar technologies

Essential: needed for the site and forms to work, including storing your cookie choice in your browser and the Cloudflare Turnstile security check.

Analytics (optional): Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity.

Marketing (optional): Meta Pixel and Conversions API.

Optional cookies are off until you accept them. You can change your choice at any time using "Cookie settings" at the bottom of every page.

Global Privacy Control

If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we treat it as a request to opt out of marketing cookies and ad-related sharing for that browser, and marketing cookies stay off even if you click "Accept".

How long we keep information

We keep personal information only as long as we need it. You can ask us to delete it sooner (see below).

  • Inquiries that don't lead to a project: up to 24 months after our last contact, then deleted.
  • Client records: for the length of our work together and afterwards as long as needed for tax, accounting and legal obligations.
  • Email records held by our email providers: according to those providers' retention periods.
  • Analytics data: according to the retention settings of Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity, which we keep at the shortest periods that meet our needs.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you, give you a copy, correct it or delete it, or stop contacting you. You can also opt out of targeted advertising at any time in Cookie settings or with a GPC signal.

To make a request, email hello@geandigital.com. We may need to confirm your identity before acting on a request, and we aim to respond within 45 days. You can use an authorized agent to make a request for you. If we decline your request, you can appeal by replying to our decision with the word "Appeal", and we will review it again. We will not treat you differently for exercising these rights.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), spam protection and limited access to inquiry records. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

Visitors outside the United States

This site is intended for businesses in the United States. If you use it from another country, your information will be processed in the United States.

Children

This site is intended for business owners and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when our practices change. The effective date at the top shows when it was last changed. If we make significant changes, we'll note them on this page.
